There are a few prerequisites for your display photo: your face must be clearly visible in the photo, there must be no one else with you in the photo, and there should not be children, violence, weapons, and sexual content. There is a checkmark you can opt to tick that makes your profile photo appear blurred to other users (but you can release it to individuals that you choose) – we do, however, discourage keeping this ticked. After all, your main reason for joining is to show yourself to as many people as possible.
When you visit someone else's profile, you will see your compatibility with them in terms of:
- Rationality vs. Emotionality
- Tradition vs. Innovation
- Distance vs. Attachment
- Observation vs. Feeling
These ratings were taken from your personality test at the point of registration. When you click on each characteristic, you'll see a brief summary of what it means and your overall compatibility. You also get a general rating of your similarities from 1 - 100 (100 being the highest).
This is probably because the site uses the information from the personality test to gauge compatibility among members rather than information to display on their profiles.
There are not many fake profiles signed up in Singles50. Since most contacting features can only be used by premium members, most profiles in Singles50 are genuine in finding love. Plus, reported scammer profiles are also quickly suspended by site moderators.
